London, November 2011 Henderson Global Investors are reaping the benefits of Curium,
Sun Street’s innovative Data Quality Management solution.

Following a highly successful pilot project Henderson have selected Curium as their strategic solution for data quality management across their Investment Operations. During the pilot, Curium was put through its paces both functionally and technically and proved a good fit with Henderson’s operating model and with their existing data and technical platforms.

Deployed into the Data Management function within Henderson’s Investment Operations, Curium is being used to reconcile and validate pricing and reference data from many sources both external and internal to Henderson. The solution also delivers a robust control environment for dealing with any issues that may be detected and for managing the resolution activities within the team.

Bringing together data from multiple third party administrators, in house databases and trading systems as well as external market data sources and many index data providers, Curium allows the operations staff to deal with missing or invalid data, resolve discrepancies between providers and monitor that ongoing changes to the master data are synchronous and accurately applied to all systems. This process ensures that the master data used across the business is consistent and remains in-line with the best available market data.
